STARNBERG recognize the users right to privacy and confidentiality, and protects information against unauthorized access or release.
STARNBERG requires email addresses for correspondence related to orders placed and responses to questions by users on products offered on the site. STARNBERG will not give, sell, rent, loan any identifiable personal information (including email addresses) to a third-party other than your mailing address, and where required, a contact telephone number, to Australia Post or other nominated carrier, (for deliver purposes) unless we are legally required to do so.
Questions asked on this site will be treated in confidence by STARNBERG and no reference to any user, a question by a user, or the response of STARNBERG specific to any user will appear on the site, or on any website linked to the site.
STARNBERG ships products offered on the site in generic packaging unless required by law to disclose the contents of any package. Disclosure of contents are required for:
(i) aviation security compliance
(ii) Customs (export from Australia)
(iii) any event where loss, damage, or an insurance claim occurs.
STARNBERG does not store credit card details on the site. Transactions generated on the site (eCommerce Transactions) are processed by the eWay Payment Gateway.
STARNBERG accepts credit card (Visa/Master Card/American Express) payment by telephone and facsimile. Credit Card details received via telephone or facsimile are processed by the STARNBERG eWay merchant facility, and personal details required for delivery are secured by STARNBERG.
STARNBERG RIGHTS
The STARNBERG web server makes a record of user visits and logs the following information for statistical purposes – the user’s server address, the user’s top level domain name, the date and time of a visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the referring sites, and the type of browser used. No attempt is made to identify users except (i) to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request, (ii) if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate the site; or (iii) to protect our rights or property or the rights of the users, our Directors, employees, contractors, sponsors, or third-party providers. STARNBERG is not responsible for screening, policing, editing, or monitoring such content.
